Fragility

People are fragile. We feel safe to hear and applaud for things we already knew or things we can rationalize. We willingly cheer for those that we do not fear.
On the other hand, for things that we are truly fear of, we hymn in an adoring voice, or claim companion to them, as an alternative to surrender.
Fragility never let go of us. Make peace with it.

Weirdly, these thoughts came to me, when I was reading an article on computational complexity this morning as a distraction in class.
